X-WR-CALDESC:Jewish Federation of Delaware in collaboration with the Rehobo
th Beach Film Society is pleased to present our inaugural Rehoboth Beach J
ewish Film Festival Federation Encore! Series. Building upon the success o
f this annual event down state we are bringing select films to New Castle
County for special screenings.\n\nCost: $5 per movie or $12 for 3 movies.
\n\n7 PM Monday\, April 1: Shelter\n\nA subtle thriller set in Germany inv
olving Mona\, a Lebanese woman (played by Iranian-born\, Paris-based star
Golshifteh Farahani)\, and Naomi\, an Israeli Mossad agent (Neta Riskin) s
ent to protect their informant who is recovering from plastic surgery to c
onceal her identity. Together for two weeks in a quiet apartment in Hambur
g\, the two women take us into a complex\, multi-dimensional labyrinth of
trust and mistrust\, of honesty and deception\, of loyalty and betrayal. T
he intimacy of the relationship that develops between Mona and Naomi is ex
posed to the threat of terror that is engulfing the world today. In this g

t their own. And yet their fate takes a surprising turn in this suspense-l
aden\, elegant neo-noir. “With churning suspense\, visual style and riveti
ng performances\, this humane slow-burn espionage thriller gets deep under
  the skin\,” writes Rich Cline of ShadowsOnTheWall.co.uk. [2017\, Germany/
Israel\, 93 minutes\, in Hebrew and Arabic with English subtitles\, Not Ra
