X-WR-CALDESC:Event Description	“A good song reminds us of what we’re fightin
g for.”\n--Pete Seeger\n\nThe past year has illuminated for us the profoun
d need for social justice in our country\, and around the world. Music has
always been an integral part of the struggle for civil rights\, for equal
ity\, for religious freedom\, for… justice. And the music of the Jewish pe
ople has always reflected our deep commitment to the struggle for a more j
ust world.\n\nJoin Nashirah: The Jewish Chorale of Greater Philadelphia an
d artists from around the world on Sunday\, March 7\, when we will present
a day of music and conversation exploring the theme of 'Singing through S
truggle.' We will join hands with our brothers and sisters from other mino
rity communities to sing\, share our stories\, and reflect on our shared c
ommitment to the fight for a more just world\, as reflected in our musical
  heritage.\n\nhttps://www.eventbrite.com/e/singing-through-struggle-a-virt
