The colorfully illustrated lecture will be held in The Commons, Townsend Hall on the UD South Campus on Wednesday, April 4 from 7:00-9:00 PM. This year’s featured plants are dogwoods (Cornus) and hostas (Hosta), and are selections suitable for every garden. Large flowered dogwoods can exhibit distinct, clear and intense flower color, unusual fruit color and exceptional plant forms, foliage color and even fall color.
The unique and extensive selection of hosta cultivars available will surely tempt collectors and novices alike. From big and bold to tiny and delicate, these easy-to-grow garden staples deserve a place in every garden.
