Scholar in Residence Weekend with Jewish Food Expert and Educator Tina Wasserman

Friday night:
6 pm Shabbat Nosh: Wine, light appetizers, and conversation before services. Meet our scholar and spend time with our community. Book signing will be available
7 pm Cooking and Questions: Our recipes are stories and our stories are recipes. Listen to the story of Jewish food and explore the connection of cooking and memory. Dessert and Discussion after services.

Saturday:
11:30 am Lunch and Learn: Beyond Bagels and Brisket: What makes food Jewish? 
 Come and hear about the history of Jewish food and how it connects us.

Sunday:
11:00 am Intergenerational Challah Bake: Learn what makes challah challah and how to braid and bake. Take some home to bake! Advance tickets: $18, $36 with a book. At the door: $25, $45 with a book. Sunday, 11 am to 12 pm
