JFS' 3rd Annual Movies That Matter Event

Jewish Family Services of Delaware (JFS) will be hosting the third annual Movies That Matter film event to address important themes and prompt meaningful conversations in our community. This year’s event, centered on the theme “Diversity & Inclusion” will be hosted at the Siegel JCC on September 22, 2019 from 1-4pm as part of Peace Week Delaware.

As a community thought leader, JFS believes diversity is one of many crucial topics to address amongst people of all ages, especially considering today’s social climate. It is important to not only acknowledge differences, but learn to understand them and build alliances within and across communities. Through this family-friendly film-screening event, it is JFS’ goal to unify participants; intolerance has prevailed for too long and, together, we strive to promote acceptance and embrace our differences that create our incredible and unique community.

This event includes a screening of Disney’s award-winning movie, “Zootopia” and family-friendly discussion and activity for guests of all ages.
