Please join us in welcoming Israeli Heroes to our Delaware Community. The delegation wants to share their story with the world to ensure that what happened to them, and Israel on October 7th is not forgotten. These sessions are about empathy, community, and togetherness. This is a FREE event. You can sign up to join either in person or via Zoom.

The delegations:
Daniel Weiss and his girlfriend, Orin Bokobza - Daniel, a gifted folk singer and songwriter from Kibbutz "Beeri," and his girlfriend, Orin, hid in their safe room in Be'eri. Daniel's father, Shmulik, was murdered and his mother, Yehudit, was kidnapped to Gaza. On November 15th, his mother was found dead outside of "Shifa" hospital in Gaza by IDF soldiers.

Yael Simon - Yael was born and raised in Jerusalem. She lives in Tel Aviv working as an actress and fitness trainer. On October 7th, she went with friends to a festival she had looking forward to for a long time - to listen to music, dance the freedom of life, and meet people filled with light and love. The celebration turned to a horror movie in an instant. She and her friends found themselves fighting for their lives, hiding together from missiles and shots from terrorists.
Sharon Ana Yakobi - A teacher from Sderot, will share her personal story and the story of the city of Sderot on October 7th.

There will be three more opportunities to meet these incredible delegates: Friday, Dec 15, 7 PM at Congregation Beth Shalom, Saturday, Dec 16, 9 AM at Beth Emeth, and Saturday 16, 11 AM at Adas Kodesh Shel Emeth.
