In this lecture, Dr. Magda Teter of Fordham University explores the deeply connected roots of modern antisemitism and anti-Black racism. In a powerful historical narrative spanning nearly two millennia, Teter describes how theological and legal frameworks created by the church centuries ago led to legal exclusion, persecution, and a denial of equality and rights to both Jews and Black people.
