New perspectives on the Holocaust: UD students Present Original Poetry and History
Please join us for a special program presented by the University of Delaware Jewish Studies Program and the Brandywine Hundred Library. Hear three University of Delaware undergraduate students present compelling works of creative writing and research about the Holocaust. These outstanding students will read powerful poems based on the oral testimonies of two survivors; and present original research about the Kindertransport, the rescue effort that brought thousands of children from Nazi-occupied Europe to Great Britain. Dr. Polly Zavadivker, associate professor of History and Jewish Studies at UD, will moderate.
Free and Open to the Public. Registration is not required.
