Community Events

The Jewish Historical Society of Delaware (JHSD) continues a series of 50th Anniversary events with a program at Seaside Jewish Community featuring a presentation by Charles (Chazz) Salkin, "Uncovering the Jewish History of Laurel."

Chazz is noted for his in-depth research into the Jewish families who settled on farms in Kent County in the early 20 th century with assistance from the Jewish Agricultural Society. There will also be historical displays of Delaware's Jewish history and a light brunch will be served.
