Yom HaShoah (Holocaust Remembrance Day), is Israel's day of commemoration for the approximately six million Jews murdered in the Holocaust by Nazi Germany and its allies, and for the Jewish resistance in that period. In Israel, it is a national memorial day, and several Jewish communities around the
world observe it as well.

In Delaware we plan two annual programs, a midday program at downtown’s Freedom Plaza coordinated by the Delaware Rabbis and Cantors (DERECH) as well as an evening program coordinated by the Holocaust Education Committee (HEC).
